Story Outline

How-To Guide: Creating Story Outlines with Livy.AI

  1. Start a New Project: Log in to your Livy.AI account and navigate to the dashboard. Click on "Create Project," and select "Story Outline" from the list of project types.

  2. Define Your Story's Basics: In the provided fields, input your story's basic information. This includes the title, genre, and a brief overview of your plot.

  3. Character Descriptions: Navigate to the "Characters" section. Here, you can create profiles for your main characters. Provide details like name, age, physical description, and personality traits. Livy.AI's AI engine will use this information to better understand your characters as it helps you develop your story.

  4. Create Plot Points: The next step is to create major plot points. These are the key events that propel your story forward. Input these into the "Plot Points" section, giving each a title and a brief description.

  5. Scene Breakdowns: After your plot points are established, you can start breaking them down into individual scenes. Navigate to the "Scene Breakdown" section. Here, you can add each scene, provide a description, and specify which characters are involved and what plot point it corresponds to.

  6. Review and Refine: Once your story outline is complete, take time to review it. Look at the flow of your plot points and the structure of your scenes. Make sure your characters are evolving and changing throughout the story. Livy.AI's AI engine can provide suggestions and feedback during this process, highlighting potential areas for improvement.

  7. Save and Export: When you're satisfied with your story outline, click "Save." Livy.AI will save your project, and you can return to it at any time to make edits or adjustments. You also have the option to export your outline to various formats for sharing or use in other applications.

Remember, a story outline is a tool to help guide your writing process. It's not set in stone. As you start writing your script or content, don't be afraid to deviate from your outline if you find your story evolving in unexpected ways. Livy.AI is here to support your creative process every step of the way.
